I am truly excited to be the principal of Carseland School for the 2018-2019 school year. As the new principal, I am grateful to have entered a school that holds students’ first and is dedicated to quality education and the inclusion of creating an engaging learning experience for all students.
Carseland motto is “the small school with the big heart” and this is evident in the quality of education and programming it offers. Carseland School has demonstrated high achievement consistently throughout their provincial achievement results and continues to break barriers in the development of unique and student-centred programming.
The opportunities for students at Carseland School are endless. Students have the opportunity to take on leadership roles through the school’s S.W.I.M. Team or through the entrepreneurial initiative of Green Thumbs and Cam’s Carrots. Students can also express their talents and passions through clubs such as choir, dance team, and drama club. Carseland participates in divisional sports teams such as basketball, volleyball and run club and holds a number of extracurricular events throughout the school year such as the spell-a-thon, guest performances and speaker, student expert fair, and student showcase nights. Carseland School also offers a daily lunch program for all students to ensure all students have a nutritious lunch.
At Carsland School we offer exceptional classroom programming from experienced teachers who remain passionate about new teaching pedagogy and whose hearts are dedicated and focused on our students. Our entire staff pride themselves on culture and climate that strives to create a safe and caring environment for our students and families.
Carseland School welcomes all parents/guardians and visitors to our school. We encourage volunteer involvement wherever possible and welcome community partnership opportunities. All of this is what makes Carseland School an exceptional place for students, parents/guardians, community, and staff. Go Wildcats!
