Roots and Shoots

PLEASE VOTE and SHARE!

Carseland School is currently participating in "Jane Goodall's Roots and Shoots A.P.E. Fund" and we're delighted to share that our project will be moving onto the voting round of the application process!

The A.P.E. Fund is about "Making a difference for Animals, People and the Environment". If we win this contest, our Grade 5/6 class, here, at Carseland School, would be able to expand the outdoor garden and classroom space by creating a healing forest in the same area. This space would provide students with an opportunity to learn more about Indigenous perspectives and history.

Voting for projects is now open and will be until January, 04,2019! Each person has 12 votes per email address, and can cast their votes at https://janegoodall.ca/our-work/roots-and-shoots/ape-fund/

We'd be grateful if you could take the time to vote for Carseland School's Healing Forest project!

Thank you so much for the community support!
