Programs

In partnership with Speargrass Golf Course, Carseland School offers a program where students in grade 4-6 have the opportunity to participate in golf lessons. The program consists of 10 golf sessions in the Spring. Students get to learn the skills of golf and practice on the beautiful Speargrass golf course. Carseland School offers a full-time kindergarten program. Our kindergarten program strives to offer a quality education that promotes enjoyment and a love for school.

Natural spaces have shown to improve mental well-being, self-esteem, and decrease stress for young people. The outdoor classroom space and Nature Connection program at Carseland School focuses on:

• Cognitive development (using authentic and engaging experiences)

• Promoting happier and healthier minds

• Providing a calming environment

• Teaching self-regulation and resiliency skills

• Respectfully weaving Indigenous worldviews

• Encouraging curiosity and creativity

Carseland School holds a close partnership with the Busy Bee Preschool. The Busy Bee Preschool operates out of our building and often joins our student body for school events. Busy Bee website can be found at the following link
